Production Manager
An opportunity for a hardworking and adaptable person to work within our large workshop as the Production Manager in all aspects of manufacturing our bespoke structures. Preparing a variety of aluminium components to the highest standards and reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be working to important deadlines, ensuring a swift turnaround for our clients. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary package and pension whilst working in a peaceful, countryside setting.
Must-have attributes, skills and experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Clean, full UK driving licence and own transport

- Experience of CNC machining

- Experience of manufacturing components in a workshop environment, with a firm grasp of manufacturing activities and processes
- Ability to read, understand and follow fabrication drawings
- Ability to operate all manufacturing or production line equipment and tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferable attributes, skills and experience
- Experience of using semi-automatic saw
- Tig welding
- Leadership experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role such as Manufacturing Manager or Production Supervisor
- Experience of compiling risk assessments
- Experience of/ability to assemble components on site
- Mechanical knowledge/background
- Experience of stock control and management
Production Manager experience requirements
The ideal candidate is someone with at least five years of plant management or operations experience working in a multi-line factory. A firm grasp of manufacturing-related activities, specifically production cost control, safety and quality, is a must. A person in this role also needs to have experience with lean manufacturing, process flow and continuous improvement tools and methodologies.

Installation team members
We are currently looking for installers to join our team. You will be working from our workshops in Benenden, Kent and travelling across the UK to install our structures for our esteemed clients.
This role is not always full time, but regular, and would suit someone who is self-employed and able to work for us around work of their own, or someone looking for a part time role. The ideal candidate will be/have:
- Presentable and politely spoken
- Clean, full UK driving licence
- Hardworking attitude and organised way of working
- Very experienced with using hand tools; a background in construction is a must
- Lead dressing experience would be really useful but not essential as training can be given
- Ability to work as part of a team, which can involve delegating tasks or taking instruction from other team members to get the job done
- Common sense and ability to calmly problem solve if needed
- Happy to travel to site across the UK and stay overnight, up to 4 nights per week
- Ability to read architect’s/engineering drawings
Duties and responsibilities
- Loading our company van, ensuring all items required to complete the project are present and correct, then driving to site
- Greeting clients politely, following architectural/site drawings to correctly set out the position and framework of the structure
- Work carefully and conscientiously to ensure the installation is completed to a very high standard, touching up bolt heads and cleaning the site area thoroughly
- Discussing the installation with the clients to ensure they are very pleased with the end result
- Returning to HQ, emptying the van of any rubbish and ensuring it is left clean for the next installation
